Wash-Water Recovery System:

DM Water Recovery System for Pb-Acid Storage Battery Manufacturing. The process involves two stage removal of particulates and cations (mainly Pb) and Anions (mainly SO4) and regenerating the  DM water. The regenerant chemicals are used in exact stoicheometric proportions and hence the system is extremely cost effective.

This unique system was developed for Exide Industries Ltd. for their Haldia Works in 1996.

Right now 10 units are operational at their Haldia, Chinchwad, Taloja, Bawal and Shyamnagar works.
